Book Fair Complete

We just completed another successful book fair.  Not only do book fairs put books in the hands of the students and promote reading, but they pay for some great programs at our school. Our book fairs fund Battle of the Books, Read Across America and other needs in our Media Center. Thank you for your support!

Battle of the Books 2017-2018

Lehi Elementary will be participating in Battle of the Books again this year.  America's Battle of the Books is a voluntary reading incentive program for students in grades 3-6.  The purpose is simply to encourage students to read good books and have fun while competing with peers.

The teams for this program will be selected from each grade level.  The teams (usually 4-5 students) will be compiled, with help from the teachers, from students with both high and low reading levels. Team competitions will begin in early March during school hours.  The winning team from the 5th-6th grade will go on to represent our school at a district-wide competition.
This program is free to all students, however, we need many volunteers to help run our school’s battles in March.  To join the Battle of the Books, each student must have read at least 3 books from the reading lists below by Friday, November 3rd.
